Good Japanese restaurants with reasonable prices are hard to find nowadays. There are a lot of restaurants who offer quality Japanese food but most of them are not pocket-friendly. This is why we are glad to have discovered YUUJIN.
YUUJIN is just along Wilson street in San Juan. The exteriors are well decorated with a traditional looking gate at the front. The interiors however, looks just average. It’s a good thing we came a bit early (around 7pm) as customers are coming in fast.
What we ordered:
FRIED CHEEZY SALMON MAKI ( 5pcs)
I appreciate the staff asking us if we like our salmon raw or cooked. We picked the cooked salmon just to try it out. The servings were huge and they were delicious! We loved the mix of salmon, cheese and nori (or maybe we just love cheese!).
EBI TEMPURA
We felt like shrimp tempura tastes the same everywhere. We should have ordered something else.
CHAHAN
Chahan was good! The serving is already good for 2 people.
Saving the best for last..
TENDERLOIN STEAK YUUJIN STYLE
This one is our favorite! It’s very flavorful and the meat is very tender. It’s actually good even without the sauce. The quality of the meat is superb given the price. We will surely order this one when we come back.
