Ippudo ramen is all about innovation. They have their own central kitchen dedicated to soup and noodle production. Ippudo uses local products and infused them with Japanese elements. They don’t compromise to ensure optimum food quality.

Ippudo is known for their Hakata style noodles. Hakata is another name for Fukuoka city in the south of Japan and is best known for its Tonkotsu-based ramen.  They are made from pork bones simmered for many hours to achieve the creamy texture.

SHIROMARU MOTOAJI ( Php 385)

It’s their Classic Hakata-style ramen. Choose this if you want to try their basic creamy broth

I had a sip of this broth and it tasted unique because of the miso paste

I regret not ordering this one. This is still the best for me because I love spicy!

NIKUSOBA

This is what I ordered. Their new limited edition called Nikusoba. The soup is the same basic broth, but topped with slices of pork belly. They say it’s best to pair it with onsen tamago so I also ordered it and mix it with the broth. It has the same creamy taste, but with different toppings.

FINAL VERDICT:

If you are craving for ramen, Ippudo is one of the go-to place to satisfy and fulfill your tummy especially on a rainy weather. The recommended texture of the noodle is hard or extra hard. I’ll come back for their Karaka Tamago with their refreshing pineapple shake.
