Looking for a place to eat at Greenbelt, we are undecided on where to have lunch despite of the many restaurant choices. We passed by Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. twice so we finally decided to try it here.
As we enter, the place reminded me of an American diner where it has a casual atmosphere. The theme was actually inspired by the movie Forest Gump. It also has a mini souvenir shop inside.
The menu is mostly seafood, mainly shrimps! So we ordered two kinds of shrimps to try.
SHRIMP RIGATONI ( Php 590)
I was surprised with the serving and the overwhelming shrimps in the pasta. The sauce is very flavorful and different from the usual carbonara or truffle we had. I love it!
I’M STUFFED! SHRIMP ( Php 730)
7 pcs of shrimp balls… The price is quite high because it was stuffed with crab meat and shrimps! The sauce has a light lime flavor.
HUSH PUPS
Yey! Hush Pups for free! Since we ordered 2 mains, they had a promo that Hush Pups will be free. It’s valid from Sept 1 to Oct 31, 2016.
FINAL VERDICT:
If you have the budget and you love shrimps, this is definitely the place! The serving and the amount of seafoods place in every dish won’t disappoint you. You can see the price you pay is in the quality of the food they served. I’ll include this as one of the restaurants to go to in Greenbelt 🙂
