Teishoku is a very simple yet well-balanced set meal which is served on a tray with a combination of miso soup, main dish, steamed rice and pickles. This set meal is offered in a newly opened restaurant in SM Megamall, Yayoi Japanese Teishoku Restaurant.
The kind staffs are helpful to assist us in introducing the menu. Placing your order is automated here. The orders will automatically be sent to the kitchen so once you confirm your order, no cancellations will be allowed. Just wait for a few minutes and your set meal will be served at the table.
MIX TOJI TEISHOKU ( Php 425)
Breaded pork loin, fried shrimp and sukiyaki beef
I like the katsu sauce with egg on topped.
This comes with salad in goma dressing. The hamburg is soft and juicy and the teriyaki sauce added the sweet flavor in the meat.
TORORO NABE TEISHOKU (Php 595)
Tororo is known as grated yam, which makes the broth thick. This is like a mini hot pot because it comes with bola bola.
KATSU TOJI TEISHOKU (Php 395)
NASU MISO & SABA TEISHOKU (Php 495)
Stir-fried eggplant with slices of pork belly and mixed vegetables in miso sauce, served with grilled mackerel
Free dessert since it’s Mother’s Day!
The food was delicious but not too outstanding. The miso soup, rice and salad are not unlimited. Portion is a bit small. Still, I’m happy and satisfied with my meal set here. A tray of teishoku is enough to fulfill one’s tummy.
