We went to Venice Grand Canal to check out the place. Going around, we felt hungry so we decided to find an interesting restaurant to eat. We passed by Shawarma Bros and it caught our attention because of the cute exterior resembling a food truck.
Shawarma Bros is a Middle Eastern restaurant that mainly serves beef, chicken or lamb shawarma with choice of Biryani rice or their pita wrap. You will have to place your order in the window which is the counter and also their kitchen.
The sides of the wall are pictures of happy customers enjoying their meal here.
Here is what we ordered:
PITA W/ GARLIC HUMMUS ( Php 80)
The light taste of the hummus goes well with the pita! The pita is pressed, which makes it very crunchy and crispy.
BEEF SHAWARMA RICE MEAL (Php 179)
The beef is tasty! They are not fat and oily 🙂
They have 3 sauces to choose from: Garlic Yoghurt, Cheese and Chili Tomato. Though Garlic Yoghurt is my favorite, I like to mix everything together to add spice in my meal.
KEEMA ( Php 60)
It doesn’t look appetizing, but it sure does! It goes well with rice and even the pita bread! By far the best keema I’ve tasted!
LAMB STEAK WRAP MEAL ( Php 219)
The lamb is delicious as well!

FINAL VERDICT:
I like the light taste of their shawarma and the sauce. After eating, I don’t have the heavy feeling or have the strong garlic taste in my mouth. The sauces are a little watery which are lighter in taste, but does well in adding flavor to the shawarma.
