The Grove is one of our go-to places when we want to have a dinner. Besides the wide parking space available, the restaurants here are new which makes it interesting to go here. You can also walk around the area after eating.

There are lots of restaurants to choose from but we ended up to try Asakusa because this was their only branch so far.

Asakusa is known for their Tempura Sets. One of their bestseller is the Shogun Set or the Black Tiger Prawns.

5 Pcs Shogun set Php 568 asakusa the grove (7) (800x600)

All set comes with plain rice ( add Php 38 for fried rice, Php 58 for cold soba and Php 68 for hot udon) and a drink.

Despite that it’s fried, the black tiger prawns are not oily. They are crispy and light.

The udon was chewy and good.

AUSTRALIAN BEEF ( Php 588)asakusa the grove (4) (800x600)

This was very satisfying and delicious. The beef is very tender and flavorful. This is a must order here!

Of course, we ordered for plain rice.

FINAL VERDICT:

I’m not a die-hard fan of tempura, but this was by far my favorite tempura place. The batter is light, crispy and not oily. The shrimps are also huge. One of the interesting dishes for me was the Australian Beef. It’s really good!
