We finally got the chance to try Salvatore Cuomo at Uptown Parade, BGC. The namesake restaurant by Salvatore Cuomo himself is an Italian cuisine specializing in Neapolitan pizza.
Salvatore Cuomo is an Italian-Japanese celebrity chef and restaurateur known throughout the world.
We are beyond excited as we enter and saw the glittering lights and spacious ambiance. The place is very classy but in a relaxing way. It’s nice to have a date here.
They have long tables which can be reserved for big groups.
And they also have round tables for intimate and smaller groups.

It was my first time having seaweed zeppole as complimentary. It’s very crispy and addicting!
D.O.C. PIZZA ( Php 850)
Denominazione Di Origine Controllat (DOC)- This is their award winning pizza so we couldn’t miss the chance not to order this even though we are tempted to order the pizza with meat toppings. This pizza is very simple. It has basil, mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. One thing you learn is that it is not about the loaded toppings on the pizza. It is all about the dough and using fresh ingredients.
TAGLIOLINI GAMBERI SPINACH ( Php 580)
The pasta is indeed cooked al dente as expected. The lemon cream sauce is very light and flavorful.
RISOTTO AI FUNGHI PORCINI ( Php 620)
If you like an earthy and nutty flavor, this one is for you.
FINAL VERDICT:
The service is very nice. The staffs are attentive and very friendly. I especially love the ambiance. The serving of the food can be small for some. Nonetheless, the food is great!
