Coca serves Thai- Chinese cuisine, located in SM Aura Premier Taguig. It is known for their Suki Signature Hotpot. The place has dim lighting with wide and spacious interiors perfect for big groups.
We are here to try their Thai-style hotpot, but we ordered some dishes to start our dining experience.
STIR FRIED NOODLES
Serving size is a bit small but the taste is delicious. It combines two kinds of noodles with fresh vegetables and seafood.
CHICKEN EN PAPILLOTE
This chicken is wrapped in a special paper which locks in the moisture while it’s cooking. And it’s amazing how tender and juicy it tastes! It feels so healthy since it’s not fried and doesn’t have skin. Yet, it’s perfectly delicious.
And here’s what we are waiting for: Thai Signature Hotpot has 3 soups to choose from. Yen Ta Fo, Chicken and Tom Yum Soup.
They have 4 platters to choose from:
Emperor’s Platter: Assorted Meat, Seafood, Vegetables and Glass Noodles
Green Earth Platter: Assorted Vegetables, Mushrooms and Glass Noodles in Vegetables Stock
Red Fire Platter: Assorted Meat, Vegetables and Glass Noodles
Blue Ocean Platter: Assorted Seafood, Vegetables and Glass Noodles

We choose the Chicken soup, which is mild and plain and Tom Yum Soup, a little spicy.
BEANCURD STICK
Coca recommends us to end the hotpot with Ojiya. Ojiya is a delicious combination of rice slowly cooked in our hotpot broth with sesame oil, egg, spring onion and fried garlic.
Each Ojiya experienced will never be alike because it depends on your personalized hotpot. We are asked if which soup base we prefer. We chose our tom yum broth.
Forgive the unappetizing picture. It looks similar to congee. It’s a good way to end our hotpot with this warm and comforting treat.
FINAL VERDICT:
Overall, I like my hotpot experience here in Coca. The few ala carte dishes we order is delicious as well.
