Ber-months are the best time to go to Tagaytay because of the chilly weather. I have an exciting hidden restaurant to share with all of you! I love hidden restaurants in Tagaytay. Like Antonio’s, Chateau Hestia is a bit far away from the busy streets, but still easy to find the way. Thanks to the help of Waze.
With the love of wine and good food, Johannes Zehethofer proudly brings to Filipinos the unique European experience. They don’t just give you a restaurant, but they also want us to feel that we are in our own home.
Because it was a garden restaurant, I mistakenly thought that coming here at night will be more beautiful (I thought there are lights decorated). I was wrong. Do come here in the morning! It was dark and we couldn’t see much of the surroundings.
For the food, we are delighted with the selections on the menu. I think we ordered too much for us.
The greens are very fresh!
FOREST MUSHROOM SOUP
A warm soup to start our meal!
The patty was very juicy.
TRE FUNGHI PAPARDELLE
The pasta was just okay.
We all love the pizza. It was meaty, tasty and the crust was crispy.
SIRLOIN OFF THE GRILL
The sirloin was the only available steak during that time. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. We also enjoyed this one.
