After jogging at BGC’s Track 30th, we went to Single Origin to have breakfast. The place was dim, but has a very relaxing vibe. It was still early so it wasn’t crowded that time. We are seated comfortably.
HOT CHOCOLATE VALRHONA ( Php 170)
The menu had a long list of beverage, but I preferred hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is 65% valrhona chocolate with milk. It didn’t disappoint! It was creamy and has the right consistency and sweetness.
HOMEMADE CORNED BEEF ( Php 350)
The homemade corned beef comes with poached egg and hollandaise with garlic parmesan potato hash. The serving is quite small and the corned beef has a huge fat trimmings. I love the crispy potato hash though.
BLUEBERRY CREAM CHEESE PANCAKE ( Php 375)
It comes with two disc of 1/2 inch thick pancake with lots of blueberries on top. The blueberries are not too sweet compared to the usual ones we taste in a jam. The serving was huge for this one.
FINAL VERDICT:
I love the relaxing ambiance of the place. It’s a great place to chill and hang out. The food we ordered was just okay. I’ll try their burger and French toast next time. I heard that they also serve good coffee here.
